Hi there -- After thinking about 2.7t in A6 / Allroad / S4 cars for years and occasionally lurking on this forum, finally bit and bought a 51k mile 2001.5 Imola / black S4 Avant in very nice shape. Already has APR chip, but I'm getting the bug for additional mods. Driveline stabilizer is on order; piggie pipe mods and 19mm read swaybar are high on the list, along with scanning equipment. K04s and rest of Stage 3 are future possibles, but I want to break in "slowly". Does this sound familiar to other S4 mod-aholics?

Wasn't looking for Imola (low-stealth) or 6 speed manual (wife and son are auto-only), but it is starting to grow on me as a mid-life crisis statement. Very civilized hot-rod.

Would appreciate discussion with contacts in Houston /south or east Texas, but couldn't find addresses or local club. Noted from texts that Don Pavlik and a few others reference Houston, but would like to join or form local group of S4-nuts so I can come up the curve more rapidly.

I drove the car only for 2 weeks before returning to my overseas work (28 days overseas in Indonesia and then about 25 days off time in Houston), so I'm pretty keen to get back. I'm in Indonesia right now and the slow slow bandwidth is driving me nuts on some of the searches and forum reviews, but the interesting info helps keep sanity while away.
