Nooby question: STFA failure. Can someone tell me where the MAF is located when i pop my hood?

Looks Like U Are A Fellow Tip Owner...So...Open The Hood..Locate The Airbox...And Follow The Intake
hose from the airbox towards the firewall. The hose will enter a round black cylinder like device ("the MAF" - with electrical wires that connect it to the ECU) that connects to another intake hose that is ribbed (aka "the accordian").
This ribbed intake hose connects to the Y air intake that you see when u look at the engine from above. The black cylinder like device ("the MAF") should have hose clamps connecting it to the other sections. Take a screw driver and loosen.

P.S. - if this doesn't help - get a professional tech to point it out. Also STFA ("search the fukking archives") - I'm sure there's a picture of a MAF in the archives.

FYI, when reinstalling the MAF, but sure to put the clamp on the accordian hose to maf connection...
