Hey Shortbus S4 - Nice Dyno work - saw your posts - I have a few questions?? - Thanks in advance (M)
Any graphs to post? What kind of gas was the X chip running? What gear was the high HP spike in? Did you have a Vag hooked up -what was the boost level at the peak HP? What was air temp/hum?
Awesome video - Too bad the car was blue - silver would have added maybe 20-30 hp

The air temp was cool, 50-55...
The owners have their graphs, I don't have copies. But Curry's is keeping the results in a database at their shop. I'll suggest to Matt that he post the graphs to the Curry's website.
I believe the pulls were done in 4rd gear, considering they were taking the cars to 118-120mph @ 7k rpm - unless the 3rd is that tall. I had a Tiptronic so I'm not sure.
The dyno spikes seemed to happen to most of the cars while they were running. I believe the computer calculates the proper readings at the end of the run. 262 whp w/ 320ft/lbs was the best run for the X-Chip/Borla setup. I'm not sure on the gas, probably 93octane.

I was under the impression that the loss was more than that . . .
Taking a look at GIAC's website, he lists a stock S4 as 250 bhp / 165 whp. That's around 33%!!
A chipped S4 is ~310 bhp (stock exhaust) or 25 whp. Still 33%.
How are you guys getting 250 whp? I must be missing something in those numbers...
