to go a few more days of standard driving before putting new pads in.

Anybody know?

How much was left on your pads when the light came on?

I had plenty of pad left when mine came on a few hundred miles easy.

Yeah, you'll be fine. I drove for over a month with mine on.

(Not necessarily recommended.) Just don't track or autocross it.
