This is odd....the clunking sound only happens when it is wet out, roads are dry now, and clunking

Okay...you need to tell me when you figure this out!
My car has been doing this since 2002 (when I first got it).
Clunk comes from front left when wet. Silent when dry.
Suspension has been swapped out (I wanted a different suspension).
Front shocks were subsequently replaced (had another issue with them).
I've checked the front end for play and haven't found anything significant.
Checked all the ball joints...a-okay.
Checked the subframe bolts...a-okay.
Tugged pulled pushed, and molested the swaybar and endlinks (since it seems related to one wheel traveling over bumps while the other one is on smooth pavements)...nada.
I've had the car on a lift at one point...didn't see any motor mounts dripping fluid. Nothing else unusual either.
It's gotta be something minor, but for the life of me, I have no idea what that would be!

lol, it really seems like you and I have the same obscure problems when it comes to our cars
I have a huge chunk of time on friday, I'm gonna get underneath her with a spray bottle of water and just soak everything and see what I come up with.

It's somewhere in the vicinity of the tires (I believe).
If the car has been parked in the rain, and then the rain starts and you start driving when the roads are wet...it's silent for a little bit...but once the tires spray the water all over, then you'll get the clunk over certain bumps in the road.
