Oil change... 7 quarts of oil was added instead of the 6.3... Any harm (more)

After the oil change I have noticed that there of been a couple of oil spots under the car..
I am hoping that it is because of the excuse oil through a overflow hole or something..
Before the oil change the underside of the car was dry (no signs of a oil leak).

I put seven in .. Everything still works... I think 6.9 is the norm.

Yes, it's 6.9, Audi tech told me so.

The engine takes more than 6.3 quarts, you'd actually be about 1/2 low if you only used 6.3.

I put 7 in mine - if you account for the remaining in each container it's probably 6.9qts.

The last time I had my oil changed by the dealer it looked like they spilled a qt of oil down the side of the engine but all I noticed was a big oil puddle on the tray. I cleaned everything from top to bottom with simple green and it has stayed clean ever since. even the tray.
