fram == not good, Mobil 1, Mahle, Bosch (OEM) or Mann are good
Read, he has a link just for filters made for german cars.<ul><li><a href="http://people.msoe.edu/~yoderw/oilfilterstudy/oilfilterstudy.html">http://people.msoe.edu/~yoderw/oilfilterstudy/oilfilterstudy.html</a</li></ul>

Most will recommend stick with the OEM unit. Personally I would not hesitate to use an oil filter
that meets or exceeds the stock unit. I would not hesitate to use a M1 filter, if I couldn't get my hands on a stock unit.

Doesn't the OEM filter hold the oil out of the oil pan after shutdown in turn resulting in (more)
quicker lubrication of engine on cold starts? I heard previously that using a different filter voids warranty.
