Oil level light coming on but level is fine

Oil level light coming on but level is fine
My Audi A4 tdi 2007 oil level light comes on after about 17 miles I've checked the level it's fine as soon as I pull the dip stick out then put back close hud and the it goes out then repeats after another 17 miles any recommendations please
