Oil question (m)

Just how important is it that I bring in some Mobil to the dealer when I get my 10K service on Monday? I'm stock BTW. Is their oil really that ****ty? (not sure what kind they use). Or is Mobil just much better quality? thanks.

They won't use synthetic...I would get 7 qts. of Mobil 1 0W-40 if I were you.

My 10K was Friday... I brought 7 qts of M1 0W-40..

Service person said they use syn oil,,, I didn't believe her so I had them use my own... no problem,, excellent service BTW ... not bone stock!!

my dealer lets me pay the differance for Mobil 1

I'm kinda new to this, but I though oil should be changed every 3000 miles.?
