Oil Sensor Warning
Has anyone been through this?
Oil temp guage works most of the time. It has started throwing the yellow warning light and the guage goes flat. It then comes back later with no intervention. Is the the sensor going bad or a wiring issue? How hard is the replacement?
This car has a warning light for a warning guage...pretty cool. I wonder what else I will discover as the car goes past 120k.

uh...check your oil?
sensor is at the bottom of the oil pan.
so in other words..you are doing an oil change when you change the sensor.
held in by 2 screws...easy replacement. i did it a months ago.

i found something had chewed through my wiring on the sensor. Fixed the wiring still had the bad indicator on the dash. Then changed out the sensor, and i still have the bad indicator. Frustrating as hell right now and im still troubleshooting.
