Check for boost leaks if you don't want to be swapping turbos soon...

If you have an APR chip that sounds like the right amount of boost.

15 psi is not right because it should be spiking higher. Yes there are 1998 S4's...many of them.

Default Isn't the boost spike a result of the delayed correction of the actual

boost back to the requested boost level? I thought that was because the N75 has some lag. If the APR chip requests 15 psi, and that is what his car is producing, why wouldn't that be 'right'?

Default I would be willing to bet that at 3000 RPM and WOT, the chip is requesting more than 15 psi...

plus boost spikes are just the nature of chipped S4's. You're right in N75 delay being part of the reason.

In any case, I've never seen a properly running chipped S4 not spike over 15 psi at "normal" elevations.

I would pressure test it and log.

So, at higher altitudes there wouldn't be a spike or quite a spike? Just asking.

APR told me that the software is to peak at 19psi and taper to 17 at redline.
