Ok..I know some of you cut the muffler off your Borla's, but how 'ya think it would sound on an A4?

Ok..I know some of you cut the muffler off your Borla's, but how 'ya think it would sound on an A4?
The sandblaster sound of the 1.8t borla exhaust is really getting on my nerves, the last thousand or so miles it has gotten louder (now has about 15k on it)
A new exhaust really isn't an option..as I am short on mod money.
I am just wondering how it would sound if I replaced the muffler with a straight pipe with tips..
None of the A4 guys replied..adn I couldn't find anything in the archives.
