ok need advice: car sat for tree weeks without a start...
now battery is looking a bit fatigued. think it will go back to holding a full charge or maybe something else. what tiped me off was the temp went back to celcius on the start up. not sure what would be causing the drain. nothing plugged in no lights left on. i just went through this with the s4 and it turned out to be the alternator. hope its not that major.
i guess what im asking is, is it common for a battery to seem tired after sitting for a couple weeks like that and will it take a charge now, and am i being paranoid ? it sucked when the alternator went in the s4, it was dunmping, at night and one by one all the systems shut down on 170 heading toward the mtns.

If you battery is drained, DO NOT just jump it and let your alternator charge it up...
Alternators are not designed to charge a drained battery, only to top them off. Having your alternator charge a dead battery is a very common way to kill your alternator. They overheat and their life is shortened. Better to put a charger on the battery to charge it all the way up.
This recently happened to one of our work trucks that the had a dead battery often. Alternator went bad.
Also it is not uncommon to have a dead battery after that period of time, but you shouldn't. Could be a short somewhere.

Seems normal to me.
Alot of cars I've owned when they sit for a while the batteries seem to lose their charge but come back after letting the battery charge and driving the car on a regular basis. I wouldn't worry. Is this in the RS4 or the S4?

first off, nice job at the x-games, second, yes its normal, jump it and drive it for a good bit..
driving it will charge it, if it doesnt hold a charge after a good drive, then its time to replace battery (or alternator)

Definately a bad car!!! I'll trade you my S4 for your broke RS4!!! ; )
My car does the same thing when it sits for a couple of weeks. If it continues after you have been driving it for a while, then it might be the battery.
