ok now another prob, loud deep humming noise eminating from the driver side rear...
wheel well area. gets louder on right turns. no excess wear visable on tire due to any kind of rub. wheel bearing maybe ? thanks again guys

as usual, quik to the response. thanks. kinda figured it was the bearing, good to have an idea...
before heading to the shop. the sound is so bad that i am just waiting for the thing to seize. it goes into the shop in 15 min.
