to stay in..... the headlight is laying on the bottom of th housing. i think the cup is broken because i took out the headlight and put the auto leveler back into the cup but it just pulled back out. does anyone sell a replacment peice for that? how can i keep it from coming out?
to be clear, my auto leveler stays in place... its locked in. its the ball that pulls itself out of the cup that its supposed to sit in. then it pushes the headlight down. my drivers sideis shooting WAYYY up.. while the highbeam is 4 feet in front of me.
also how should the hids go in? i think i might have put my passengers side upsidedown
thanks in advance for any help. i spent 3.5 hours last night trying to adjust them before i figured out what happened.

iirc, the outside "wire" on the HID bulb should be pointing downwards. not sure
about the leveler Q you have.

i fixed the auto leveler issues. now my new problem is...
my high beam is uber low, like 5ft in front of the car. while my low beam is in the trees. its a problem because when i lower the low beam, the high beam goes with it.
i wish i had a set of ecodes to compare mine with.

you've check that both hi and lo beam bulbs are aligned and well seated in the sockets?
with that kind of disparity where the hi/lo are aiming it sounds like one or both may be improperly seated.

ill check again. i wish i had more experience with lighting
i always steered clear of hid's for fear that i would blow one.
it doesnt look like i can seat it with the wire down for the hid. the wire is facing towards the high beam now.

anything is possible! ;-) though the base is keyed. if it is upside down, the bulb
will be at an angle and cause something weird like you're describing.
