flat had bubble in sidewall... grrrr.

original remaining three have about 8k miles on them, maybe less. should have lasted at least this season, into next.
they are blizzak lm25 205/50-17s (REALLY hard to find right now)

so one new one is going on right now. i was going to buy two new ones. and take the remaining original and build a full size spare (i have an avant, came with a donut), but it's a directional tire. what should i do?

thinking of just running the one new one for now. cuz i'm saving for additions to my house.. er.. turbos, er whatever...

Default IMO you'll be fine. winter tires especially do not wear as fast as summers, so tread difference
and tire diameter are gonna be very close.

Default they say you should replace in pairs only...
but with such low mileage i agree with Biturbo that you should be able to get away with only replacing one.

...or shave to match. You can always have the new one shaved to match the existing tires.

Tirerack can shave tires prior to shipping, some speedshop/tire shops can as well.
