and this one time.....my band clamp.....
Hello...my name is Laylomei and I have a Milltek.
Today, I replaced my 2nd band clamp. The other 5 is holding up, but barely. I think I need to replace all of them eventually.
What should I use? I mean clamps.
I also changed my oil today, using Mobil 1 0w30. I was real surprised to find them at Pep Boys. The weird thing is after I put in 6.5 qts, I started the car and then check oil level again, to find the dip stick at half. What the heck? So I put in another half quart.
Just weird.
I installed 9 of the 12 Samco hoses over the past week, a few at a time. Also put in Forge valves, car is a lot more responsive now, I think my stock valves are shot. Any way to test them?
For those who have the Samco hoses, how the heck did you get to the 4-inch long one that is under the passenger-side turbo and above the lower main beam?
I'm gonna do the Euros tomorrow, any tips and hints that I should be aware of?

Lot of questions, I can only answer the oil one.
Actual amount of oil for full oil and filter change is 6.9 quarts. (See updated Audi TSB)
(Tip: Pour the 7 quarts in quickly (don't let them drain into the engine in a funnel). The amount that sticks to the sides of the containers will be the .1 quart(3.2oz) leaving you with 6.9qts in the engine. Works every time.)
