OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH FFFFFF************KKKKKKK
Gotta change my sig...looks like Imola is going on her THIRD SET of turbos.
Not for certain yet but the DVs and hoses check out fine and the area rep was there. They didn't find a problem but DEFINITELY heard the noise...theory is that whatever was in the intake system that did in turbos # 1 may have left something that toasted turbo set 2.
I won't know for sure till Monday afternoon. They did all the diagnosis today with the car together...they're going to pull the front clip and start taking things apart to see if they can find ANYTHING other than the turbos and the next step is turbo replacement.
Uh...anyone know a good lemon lawyer in So. Cal?

at least the dealer is helpful and sincere...
I mean I'm not getting any grief, they know there is a problem, they REALLY want to fix it and will do whatever it takes. I would be LESS upset if this car wasn't on a 2-year lease.
I'll see what they come up with then call AoA...if they have to change the turbos again the car will have been out of service MORE than 30 days and technically will have had 5 documented visits for the same problem (but only two with my good dealer).
The turbos were in there 1200+ miles...not sure why they suddenly decided to take a dump NOW. You can bet turbo set #3 is going to be scrutinized VERY CAREFULLY for ANY signs of a lingering problem.

Lemon Lawyer... that's funny... Imola lawyer anyone?
Dude.. that reeeealy SUCKS! I don't get it, my brother and I have been driving the wheels off our cars since the day they cracked 1000 miles. Chips (MTM/AMS), exhaust, S-flows, he's got forge I'm back to stock DVs (one of mine was way stuck)... and no motor/turbo probs to speak of.. Man I hope they compensate you somehow.. it really blows to be down for their idiocracy.. I was down for a month but had no one to blame but my self and my over zelous MaD (or lack thereof) RowInG SkiLlZ...

Agreed, it helps when you know they aren't trying to BS you, but...
Man you've had a tough go!
Pieces parts usually get stuck in the pre cats, right? Don't turbos only exhale? I wonder what got dislodged ahead of the turbos to cause the failure...and where it came from?
At a minimum, I hope they at least set you up in a good loaner.
Must admit, I much rather follow your driving updates, but best wishes from the other coast...
