Default Opening a can of worms (Chip Talk)

Well,

Ive had my s4 for a little over a year, its a 2000 and ive been procrastinating installing an ECU upgrade... ive finally decided its the right thing to do to improve my s4 experience. However, with all the companies out there, i was looking for a few suggestions, or even alot of suggestions.

Anyone with any insight on which chip's are the best bang for the buck and/or the best complete package, etc... please help me make a decision.

Default Best bang for the buck are always the store brands. Taste the same as the national brands, yet

they usually cost half what the national brands cost.

Default I bought used ECU/chip and sold my stock ECU for $300. After all said and done, spent $400

As for which type to get, I would search the archives. To start you off the 3 major are GIAC, AMS, and APR.

Oh yeah, upgrade your Diverter valves to 710N and check your throttle body boot regularly.

Searching will give you much, much more info
