As far as selling a stock one goes... (my opinion as a prospective S4 buyer)
It's more that it's never been chipped. Personally if I'm in the market for an S4 and plan to mod it, I'd buy one that's already modded because that saves me the cost of labor on those items and then some.
If I'm looking for a stock S4, I'm looking for one that's never been chipped more than anything else. Got a bi-pipe? 710Ns? m3 lip spoiler? Those are mods but to me those would have a POSITIVE impact on an otherwise stock S4 for sale, not a negative one.
A car that's been chipped, even if it currently isn't (you sold the chip already or whatever) is to me no longer a "stock" car even if it no longer has the chip on it because I see that as added wear on the car.
So parting it out wouldn't matter to me, but I'm weird like that. =)
