P0430 and P0421
 

Have been haunting me since I had awe do my DP's and twin 1. All O2's have been replaced. I was told the cats were good. Now I can't pass emissions and am beginning to think maybe they were bad out of the box. I let this go for a while, because it wasn't that big of a deal for me. Does anyone have any idea of what else this could be aside from bad cats, or an exhaust leak? I have till Friday to get the car inspected.

You may have an exhaust leak upstream of the cat...
 

I find it hard to believe that the catalytic
converter is bad, but it is not unlikely either.

Check for exhaust fumes coming around the car just
to make sure.

warm up cats
 

these are warm up cat codes. I'm pretty sure i no longer have warm up cats on my car.

I had similar codes when I had my AWE dp's
 

Same thing, couldn't pass emissions. Mine was bad catalytic converters, had to have them replaced.

do you have spark plug non-foulers on the o2s?
