PA owners-anyone know if Don Rosen for 1st time service is any good? Tx.

They are good at a few things...
Overfilling oil - I now tell them exactly how much I want put in my car, hand them bottles of Mobil 1, and expect the "change" back. After the first service, they have been very accomodating.
Getting grease prints on the interior of my car - I'm going to talk to them about that on my next service. I left the mark there from the last service, and i'm going to request that the tech sanitize himself before entering.
The parts counter and their service counter are completely disconnected. If you need something at your next service, get the part number, and call two weeks before your service to ensure parts has it in stock with YOUR name on it. When you bring your car in, tell them that you have leftover work from the last service that wasn't done, and the part is waiting in the parts department. (it's beyond me why they leave this to the customer to coordinate)
Don't let them wash your car (this goes with any dealer), or you'll have swirls galore.

To whomever sent me the email about DR service loaners:
Your funky email addy bounced! To answer your question, Rosen will only give you a service loaner if you bought or leased from them, otherwise, you're on your own.

Just had mine done a few weeks ago...
I gave them 7 quarts of oil. None remained, so yes, they overfilled the oil a bit.
Do not let them wash the car.
Write down everything you want them to do even if it is included in the service interval.
Otherwise they are fine.

thanks...but
i called them up and they are gonna charge me a few bucks to reprogram the key remote (normal??), and said that my P6000 bubble "may" be covered under warranty, though they have to look at it first. what do they have to look at??

I dunno about the reprogramming...
I got someone with a VAG-Tool to do it for me. P6000 bubble...well, if they see damage to the rim, or other evidence that you hit something to cause the bubble, it's probably not covered. With exception to that, I can't see why they wouldn't cover it.
