Default PAGING BeatheWRX: what screw in the SS were u referring to that I can tighten

to get rid of the left-to-right slop that I feel while the shifter is in gear? I took it apart last night (broke the circlip) and couldn't find the screw that you were talking about

Default Just the pivot joint screw - make sure there is absolutely no play in that joint

I assume you inserted the nylon inserts too?

Default 1st and 2nd are ok but 3rd and up, while engaged, has about .5 inches of slop left-right

doesn't seem to be that the joint is loose...would a DTS take some of that slop away?
