Pawed over a new A4 at the dealer today. One comment:

I'm bummed that people can't lock live victims in the trunk anymore now that there's an interior trunk release. Oh well.

that and the $38 K price for the 3.0, tells us that the next S4 is gonna be $$$$$$$$$$.

Yup, since my Avant was $44K+, I can see the next S4 being $50K. Still cheaper than a loaded M3.
