is it true that the avant has a better weight distribution? would an avant fair well in an autoX? which model drives/manuvers better in higher speed situations?

the reason i ask is because the RS4 is modeled after the S4 avant and i would be lead to believe that because of the heavy engine the rear of the avant would help to equalize the weight distribution.

Yes on weight dist., but TT would do better at AutoX

you could tie down a 100 lb weight in the trunk of a sedan and achieve a similar effect :-)
