Want a slightly firmer ride so that there's less body flex/roll around corners. Don't want it so firm that I feel a lot more road bumps, so a happy medium. Would like to lower the car an inch or so (get rid of that nasty gap, plus lower my center of gravity). Which setup(s) should I look for? Oh yeah, I live in L.A. if that helps at all.
Thanks for your time and opinions. Have a great weekend.

On order - Eibach Pro Kits and OEM RS4 shocks
I will be installing them in 2 to 3 weeks time. Zimmerman drilled rotors going in at the same time.
Drop about 20 to 25 mm. Eibach spring rates are low and fronts are stiffer than the rear. This set up is recommended by Digitec in Switzerland.
The bad news is OEM RS4 gas shocks are very expensive Euro 750 including 16% value added tax in Germany
I drive a combination of windy roads and fast highways
Will post on the results
