Played with my old G-Tech last night
Morning all,
So the wife is out of town and I was bored last night....this sounds bad already LOL. Anyhow I wanted to run some 0-60's and 1/4 miles. Car is a bone stock '01.5 S4 with 52K on the clock. It was pretty lat at night so not much traffic at all. I found a stretch of level (as far as I could tell) road and did a few runs in both directions. I was dropping the clutch at around 3K and here is what I was getting. 0-60=5.4-5.5 second and 1/4 miles were 14-14.2 at hair over 100MPH. Does this sound right? temp was 42 degrees and humidity was 60%. One thing that suprised me is the fact that the car does not feel that fast. In my old Ur-q with a bit of work I get 0-60 in the low 5's and the 1/4 at 13.7 or so and 103MPH but the Ur-q just seems so much faster, must have to do with the short gearing and loud exhaust. Oh yea on the last pass I dropped the clutch and got some slip...that was the last run of the night, all I need is for the wife to come home and I need to inform her that the new car needs a new clutch, that would not go over well ;-)
Cheers,
Jim
