Default Please I need xenon headlight pros. I got a small issue on my hands. <more>

The xenon bulb on the drivers side is muchless bright than the passenger side. I mean it is very dim and very noticible. So the dealer swap the bulb with another adn It is actually worse !
I'm thinking it must be the igniter and not the bulb. They stated that the bulb had a crack in the filament but they didn't swap the bulbs from passenger to driver so as to see if it was the ignitor or not. Has anyone had this problem or the same experience ? I don't think the valeo euro clears are the issue here as it it just the projector lense between the bulb and the outside world. Visually the projector is intact but this beam issue is really annoying me. If so could anyone give me some feedback??? I'm going back on fri. to finally take care of this . . .

Thanks a bunch,
Dan

Default If you think it's the ignitor pack, try swapping with the passenger side.

I didn't know bulbs are under warranty.

Default well...ACTUALLY

xenons get whiter with a little time...brandnew ones are a tiny bit yellow...until broken in...how long htat takes i'm not sure...my frends bmw 330 had a "mismatching pair" one a little yellow...over time (not sure how long) the color settled...BUT if after some time the color is still not matching....i'm thinking its either your ballasts or actually you may jus tneed to adjust or level them....turn those little white adjuster thingies witha na allen key...when i first got my car back (acident a yaer or so a ago...long story) myxenons were very purplish...tuns out they were aimed to far up and i guesss the angle prjected throught the lens caused it to defract strangely? i dunno...htat part is a guess....

Default Are you sure the bulb is installed correctly.

The bulbs have to be installed in the correct direction. If they are not, the light will be much dimmer than usual.

"Crack in the filament"? HID bulb has no filament.
