I dunno, I have a UUC VM2 *non-res-tip* nice and throaty but can get very loud! Considering.......
you have beautiful polished tips that look like two cannons, slightly rearing their heads like a turtle ready to kick a rabbit ***! Honestly you can almost fit your fist in each pipe. Functionally it works great, but when I wake the beast in the garage early in the mornings, the neighborhood knows who is ready to roll.

Milltek is not stock quiet...
You're just deaf from having that APR on there ;-)
I went from stock directly to MTM (which is the same as Milltek, basically). There's definitely a more noticeable bass tone at idle. It's not huge or annoying, and if you have the radio on it's pretty much drowned out, but it's definitely a bit louder (maybe 5 dB) than stock. I think it's really nice.
Strat said that stock you can always hear the engine over the exhaust, but with MTM (Milltek) the exhaust and engine are about equal in noise. I agree.

You want loud?? Try this ghetto mod.
Put on the Borla 3" exhaust piping, and for the rear section, get an APEXi N1 turbo muffler and connect it to the 3" Borla pipe. That will make an APR V.1 exhaust sound like it was stock. In my opinion it actually sounds pretty nice. No tinny resonance or that riceboy sound. Just a DEEP, DEEEEP tone. Sounds like you have about 6 JL Audio 12's in your ***. I tried this mod and found myself setting off car alarms outside left and right.
