I took my car in today to get a rattle fixed that has been annoying me for a few months. I had the same rattling noise on my Lexus SC400 and it turned out to be the exhaust heat shield, so I figured it to be the same problem on the S4 since it happens at the same time around slow turns, off the gas, around my parking garage etc. Audi couldn't hear the noise, so I went to the dealership and took the tech out for a spin. He finally heard it and called the other guys over. They said it could be the heat shield and I also heard them say something about a turbo bypass valve. Now my question: Should I put the stock chip back in the car in case it is the turbo, or should I wait to see the outcome. I spoke to one of the guys who does aftermarket stuff to the cars at the dealership who knows the car is chipped and he said don't worry we chip cars here ourselves. He also said that the extra boost is not that significant enough to affect the turbos drastically and wouldn't cause the problem.What do you guys think? I value your opinions greatly as you guys know a hell of a lot more than I do regarding these situations. Thanks!<p>'00 Nogaro/Silver
