Default No. Only when the manufacturer designates a separate half year model for changes made and

registers it with DMV is there a half year. For instance, this year when VW changed the Passat mid year. Just my HO.

Default Disagree with no, 4/01 is within the last few months of a year production.

If there is ever a 1/2 year model it would stand to reason it would be made in the last six months or so of production which would include April of 2001. I had a Ford truck made in January that Ford considered a .5 model.

Default Ummmmmmmm

You disagree with him, but state the same thing.

There has to be a designation that it is .5 model. Just being built in the later half of production for a model year does not qualify a vehicle for .5 year designation.
