Default Poll: "I live in a 4 seasons geographic area and..." (Choose all that apply)

I really like my S4 but like all of you, when the warranty is up we do have to make a decision on whether to keep the car or get into a new ride with a warranty....Therefore:

Poll: "I live in a 4 seasons geographic area and..." (Choose all that apply)

1) My S4 (A4 lurkers welcome) is my only car and I depend on Quattro for winter conditions

2) I don't have an S4 anymore and bought an M3 or other RWD car - "With snowtires on RWD you're golden!" PLEASE SPECIFY THE CAR YOU NOW OWN AND PERFORMANCE (DOABLE PERFORMANCE) IN THE SNOW

3) I Still own the S4 because there are no other cars in my price range that really thrill me.

4) I'm keeping my S4 and waiting for the turbo lady so I can upgrade to K04s

5) I lease god damnit...I have the same question as you!

Thanks...I can sit here and justify keeping my 02 S4 when the lease is up in 12/04 or just get into a fresh warranty from Audi, BMW, or whatever...

Your thoughts count!

Default 3...you know you could probably get that extended warranty if you buy...

talk to AFS several months before your lease is up and try to negotiate on the buyout price. If they refuse, they may forgive your last few lease payments. Talk to your dealer about certifying the car before you "purchase" the vehicle. It'll cost you some money...but you'll be covered for another 50K.

Default 2) 1989 BMW M3, haven't driven it in the snow yet, but I'll be running Nokian Hakkapeliitta 2 tires.

In college I had a 1992 Nissan 240SX with Blizzak MZ-02 tires. Three winters in Rochester, NY, never slid unless I wanted to and never got stuck. Now, the car never took off like an S4 on snow tires, but it cornered and stopped just as well.

Default Um, because the E30 M3 rocks and I'm not crazy/weathy enough to put another $40k-$50k car on the

track. What about 200 HP, 2700 lbs, race suspension, and near perfect weight distribution doesn't make sense?
