I'm just curious if you guys feel like I do about the next gen S4. I a bit afraid that Audi isn't gonna put decent power behind the next S4. Most rumors have stated 340HP but I've recently heard a few rumors stating only 300HP.

I don't want a car that's just slighty more powerful then the current S4. For me, 300-330HP would be too little and I would have a hard time buying the next S4 if it had less than 340HP. I want a car like the E46 M3 that "out of the box" with decent power, handling and braking. is that too much to ask?

And let's not forget you'll soon be able to buy a Passat with 300HP! :/

The way some of the 2.7t engines are ending up, the new S4 would need 400hp to be tempting.

heck even at 340HP I don't think it would be ALL that much faster. Maybe 5.0 0-60 if we're lucky (which is where most chipped S4s are at).
