Poll: What have you dropped down the engine bay while working under there w/ hood open and its gone

A nut, passenger side heard it hit the downpipe area and it landed somewhere down there. MIA

Dropped on of the circular spacers for the APR bipipe down there. No problem, get my magnetic tool..
 

oh sh^t, the spacer is aluminum! Can't remember how I retrieved it, but it was a pain.

Other than that, the magnetic extension tool has been a live saver. Picked up many parts that I couldn't even see. Just fish around until it gets it.

rubber grommet that holds one of the PS reservoir supports. gone bye bye!

10mm box end twice in a row got stuck on plastic pan.

One of the three bolts for the DS upper strut mount. Somewhere under the brake booster/battery....
