Possible to fit 235/40 17 on stock S4 rims?

Default Possible to fit 235/40 17 on stock S4 rims?
message while back said spacers needed on back wheels. Is this true? Any recommendations would be helpful

Default If they are 235.40.17's you shouldn't need anything but an 8" rim
Are you mounting them on the stock rims? It's pushing it in my opinion with a 7.5 inch rim..
Do they make a 235.35.18? That would look nice!

I had 235/45-17's on my 2.8Q with Eibach pro kit (-1.75") and had ZERO clearance issues!!!!
