Possible S4 Replacement - 2009 Acura TL-S (340hp & all-wheel drive)
Sep. 08 issue of Car & Driver lays out 2009 cars and mentions the Acura TL-S will have a 3.7L V6 making 330-340hp and the Super Handling All-Wheel Drive from the RL. Slap a SC in there and have a 450hp all-wheel drive car with great build quality - might be interesting.

Great build quality my ***.... Has painted plastic interior door handles which rub off....
...just days after ownership.
Gear selector doesn't even line up with the selector indicator (PRND) and the bloody car keeps emailing you to tell you a service is due in 500 miles or 300 days...?

Hopefuly your not sold on a product called 'Super Handling All-Wheel Drive'
I wouldn't buy a Honda but thats my opinion. Never have impressed me with any of their cars to date. Maybe the old Integra Type-R...

Acura's lineup is very uninspiring as of late. I prefer the older TL-S over the current generation.

Both has good points
I have 01.5 S4, and 03 TL-S. Live both cars very much. The S4 is more fun to drive, more eye catching. The TL is more roomy, better of a passenger car. It's quick and reliable.
I have had good success with Acura's service. My car runs very well and had to spend very little. My S4 is fun I of late I have been driving it more than the TL.
I don't know about tha SH-AWD. Sounds interesting but it will be 1st year production. AWD is great, and the extra power, especially tq would be welcomed. Will have to see.
