Default Power loss issue- VAG-COM says fuel too lean....

I hooked up my laptop with VAG tool for the first time and checked the fault codes. There was one that said fuel too lean. Could this be contributing to my power loss? Anyone else seen this?

Actually I've done nothing. Car has APR chip and that's it. Why?

Default okay, sounded like a sensor might have got AFU...

lean mixture is bad from about every standpoint. most people don't realize fuel actually is ONE of the components in cooling the engine...proper fuel/air is VITAL for good power.

I'd clear the fault, put the stock ECU back in and see if it throws the same code. If so...go to the dealer ASAP...nothing good can come from a lean mixture.

So that may be what is contributing to power loss?

Default certainly wouldnt help the power any...

but might be indicitive of a more serious problem in the fuel or intake system that is the real culprit.

Default Describe your power loss please.

I have been chasing some power loss here and there, sort of almost random, I believe it's the BPVs, got uprated ones but have not installed them yet (Want to get data logs so I can tell if they were falling or the new ones produce different numbers/timing).

Also, seems the car get's *lazy* as time goes on, I was finally able to smile again after I did a throttle adaptation (had lots of lag and so-so power before), seems those Bosch engineers are not doing complete homework nowdays hmmm.

Maybe their motronics is bug free by now?
