I know to some this will sound dumb, but here goes,I currently have a b5 s4 with a small power steering leak, and being as here in NY we got 18 inches of snow dumped on us, Im not really looking to rip apart my engine bay to swap hoses in this weather, so what it comes down to is i need to replace my fluid every now and then, well cap and manual say to use synthetic fluid and the only stuff i can find is like 20 bucks for 8oz and all the other stuff is like 3 a gallon, does any one know if i can use the other "regular" power steering because even when autozone typed in my car the computer told us regular, but i didnt wana risk it and mess up the steering. any help with ether fluids people do use or if you know the other stuff wont hurt any thing would be greatly appreciated.
