Problem getting DTC from MAF
I disconnected the MAF sensor wire, started the car but no DTC. I even tried driving a few miles but still no DTC. I then shut off the car and reconnected to no avail. Anyone have any hints as to how I can get a DTC by removing the MAF sensor wire (on top of MAF housing)? Thanks!

No offense taken, here's a pic of the wire I disconnected
<center><img src="http://members.***.net/dyos4/MAF.jpg"></center><p>I was told that this was the MAF sensor wire. Is this not correct?

I should see the check engine light on or something when the car is running correct?
No lights. I don't have a VAG. MAF has been working fine, but I've got 68K miles. Trying to sneak in that 70,000 replacement from Audi.
