This happened last night when i needed to slam the brakes and the S4 started braking really strange and I went into a 360 spin.

I got lucky there was only one other car on the road near me and I kept my cool and let the spin follow through and I only had to correct a little to be in the right direction again.

The sucky part is I think I may have a flat spots on the tires now.

Is this a common issue when these sensors go bad? (the erratic braking and spin out)I am assuming that my ABS module is shot. How much is this repair? I am also a little apprehensive of driving the S around like this.

road conditions? how hard did you brake? were you also turning at the time?

Dry road, was not turning and had to slam them as hard as i could

sounds pretty dangerous... might want to look into replacing the abs unit ($$$ i think)

Was the ABS pulsing as you braked?

When it's on the brakes feel a little wierd and of course the abs no longer works. Do you hear a clunk every so often when the light goes on or off?

no pulsation at all. Just strange behavior from the brakes for a second and then the spinout.
