Default Problems with the sun roof shade!!

Just got s4 back from the dealer. About two weeks ago, I was traveling through an empty intersection at about 80 mph, and the slightly raised crossing road caused me to fly up in my seat and my head busted the rollers for the sun roof shade. The shade would no longer open. Now, besides slowing down, what can I do to keep this from happening again? Everyone talks about springs, but would less "jump" be a benefit of replacing my stock springs?

Thanks

Imola S4 anxiously waiting to hit the 5K mark for mods

I'm 6'4" and I fit fine, lower your seat and recline it a little.

Default Can you still drape both of your wrists over the top of the steering wheel?

If you can't you need to be closer to the wheel. I'm 6'5", and of course, headroom sucks in the S4. I do get a little tired of guys only 6'1" or 6'2" complaining about it though. I've removed some padding (about 3/4", uncompressed from butt weight on it) from the seat bottom and that has helped, but not completely solved the problem. Another half inch of headroom and I'd be completely happy, so really I think the S4 needs another solid inch from the factory of headroom -- just like my A4 had!

Fairly straight up, I guess...I find the headrest in the most usable condition sitting this way

Default You'll get airborne even more w/ a stiffer suspension ;-)

There are parts of a local freeway (i280) where I have to slow to closer to the legal limit if I don't want to get launched into the roof and/or get all 4 wheels off the ground
