Basically, the main reason why I'm getting one of these devices is to clear codes when I swap my chipped ECU back to the stock one.

What would work better?

I have neither a laptop or a Palm device, so I prefer the ProDiag since palm devices are cheaper and more portable.

Opinions please.

Of course, owning a Palm but not a laptop made my decision easier ;-)

So can you clear all the codes the dealers use to check if you're chipped?

Does it leave a signature code like the previous Vag-Coms?
