I just picked up a 2000 audi s4 silver on black with 83000 miles for $13,200 the car is in excellent condition, the only exception being a small scratch on the drivers door that I can probably buff out and three of the wheels need to be refinished it comes with full service records. I believe it has a k&n air filter not sure about a chip the engine cover is carbon fiber not plastic what upgrades would you recommend to start with I just came off owning a 2002 m3 with smg had to sell it b/c of divorce settlement I assume with the right upgrades I can get the s4 close to m3 level of performance any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think with the right upgrades you could do better then get close to.... I would guess, surpass.

make sure the timing belt has been done, also hook up a boost gauge to see if its chipped!
