Default Purchasing 2000 S4

Hey guys...I am about to purchase a 2000 S4. I have done alot of research on the site lately and was wondering if there is any reason to stay away from the 2000 model year and wait for a 2001.5 model....I have read alot of opinions on the boards already just would like to get some fresh input here in case I missed anything. I know there are some parts associated with the turbos that you guys recomend replacing with aftermarket parts to increase reliability so I will be looking into doing those but I assume that would have to be done for the 2001 model year cars as well. Any input would be great!

Default plus sides to buying a 2000

Usually lower in price, Open for mods immediately, look like an S4 O.G. with your old school badge, did i mention lower price?
