Default Q's about LaBree split dps w/ Borla exhaust

1. Any body have sound clips of this exact setup?

2. I've STFA and found some people that were of the opinion that this setup would be restrictive w/ K04's. True? I don't think so, but lets here the arguments.

3. Would this install be vastly different from "regular" dps?

4. Any comments on this setup appreciated.

5. Did what's his name get at you yesterday?

Default Picked this setup up today for a customer

I can only guess you're talking about the Lebree to Nospeed with AWESOME gigantic Y connector.

Don't see how this could be restrcitive!

I do recommend you have the lower half of the turbo exhaust housing port matched to the Gasket for maximum benefits on K04'sm I did. This can be done on the lift without removing the turbos.

Also I recommend cats, the -10hp is worth the 50% lower decibles, having ridden in both Simpply and STFU with this exhaust.

Default Yeah, teh ones from Tantrumwerks basically

Thanks for the info. Simmply has no cats and STFU has cats? cats reduce hp by 10, but reduce volume by 1/2?

I love your sig!<ul><li><a href="http://www.tantrumwerks.com/html/dp.html">http://www.tantrumwerks.com/html/dp.html</a</li></ul>

Default I've got the LaBree DPs with the G2. Not the Borla setup, but similar

Unfortunately I have no basis for comparison except a stage 3- with piggies and UUC VM3 (Naptowns car). We did some runs with his APR v5.0 and my X-chip v8 both in his car, and neither one of them seemed as fast as my setup (makes sense). So I can only really say with authority that the Labrees give you a definite edge over piggies.

I will say this, I LOVE the sound of my exhaust setup. I had it installed by the guys at Induktion and both of them commented on it before giving the car back. The synthesis of the two just came out really right. Note: I have the high flow cats on my DPs. Street legal here.

Another interesting note: when installing the DPs, Induktion noticed that the length of the DPs was the same on both sides. This isn't usually the case as all of the cat-backs have unequal length pipes. I'm not sure why this was, and if all Labree DPs have this, but they were brand new when I bought them. Mat (Induktion) just cut one of the cat-back pipes and welded the two to the high flow cats, so now if I want to remove the cat-back I will remove the cats with it (but can still disconnect from the DPs). Just odd.
