Quarter-mile fun tonight at Etown:
I decided to take the S4 to Englishtown for a few 1320 runs today. My only preparations were an empty gas tank and removal of my spare.
Mods are as follows: Xchip, Milltek 3" cat-back, AWE S-Flow, descreened MAF, AWE DTS, and a tanoga shifter.
I barely had 5mins of cooldown before my lane was pulled. I launched at ~3500, grazed the limiter and saw the 1.817 on the board. Nice. End result: 13.045@104.87. Bah, the turbo gods mock me.
Surely some extra RPMS on the launch will get me that twelve. Next run comes the 3800 dump. The tach leaps from 3800 to 7k... where it hangs, instantly transforming my OE clutch lining into a relatively useless gaseous form. 1.96 flashes up on the board... not too bad, maybe I can save this one. The decreasing clutch spin between gears tells me otherwise. 13.2@106.2. With a good launch that one would have done it.
The brutality of clutch sublimation still ripe in my mind, I decide on a meager 3250 launch for my third and final run. Despite this, it bites well: 1.87. I hit the gears perfectly, turbos barely off boil between gears. All seemed "just right".
This has got to be IT, I proclaim. As I read my timeslip "IT" comprised the last two letters of the word which came out of my mouth.
13.017@105.94.
Can anyone sell me a .018?

Re: What you using for Diverter Valves...
710N's. OE TT225 part I believe. Still have the factory TBB too.
Really eyeing up those DP's now that I'm sooo close.
