Default Question about H&R coilovers...(more)

My H&R coilovers arrived yesterday - although, it didn't come with the needed
wrench to adjust them - my question is, would the dealer most likely have the tools needed to adjust them, or do the coilovers REQUIRE the specific wrench that comes with them in order to install them properly? Also, my coilovers read that they are for an A4 - is this okay? - or did I get the wrong set? Thanks in advance!!!

Default use the right tools, don't mess up your coils

they should be in the box, call the retailer back and demand them

Default There was a letter in the box explaining to me they were out of wrenches, and to

send them my address to ship them to me when they're back in stock - I guess I don't want to wait for them to ship them to me...I want them installed tomorrow because it took 3 weeks to get this appointment with my dealer - I was wondering if the dealer would have the necessary tools to do this...ughhh, this sucks...

Default S4 coilovers are still on backorder from H&R, what part number was on the box?

29591-3 would be for an A4, which has much too soft of a spring rate for the S4.

Default They most likely will not have the proper tools.

Unless you can find another H&R owner locally who can lend you his wrenches, I'm afraid you'll have to wait.

Default Yes, the Ultras can be used with either the A4 or S4, as can the S4 regular coilovers.

The percentage of spring rate increase is just much more when installing the either kit on an A4.

However, installing an A4 regular coilover kit on an S4 is a spring rate decrease!
