Default Question about MTM:
I am considering buying a used MTM chip for my car. Now, if I were to have any problems with it, is MTM cool with servicing it even though I'm not the first owner? Just trying to cover my butt here, I know that APR is pretty good about standing behind their chips, orignial owner or not.

Default I bought my MTM chip used 2 years ago from some weirdo in Brooklyn
no problems, so can't comment on MTM customer service

Default Hoppen is not known...
... for their sparkling customer service. But chips generally do not go bad so I wouldn't worry about it.

Default is there a such thing called MTM gen II...
Hoppen said that is something start from Strat. and there's no such thing....who is right ?

Default of course there is. My ecu says MTM II. And that's MTM's sticker
I think gen II was better adapted to high altitude. Nothing else.

Default id call Stratmosphere to get a good mtm ecu
Stratmosphere has a couple used ones laying around the shop they will sell you. They have a few with just the chip and some that have chip/ecu combo. Call em and ask them if they have a few still on hand. You'll have to ask them what there charging for them since i dont want to give you a wrong price. They dont really sell the MTM chips, but they have a few from when customers would send them their MTM ecu's in exchange for their new OCT ecu's..
