Question...Coolant Leak = Blown Turbos?
Is it possible? just dong a little research. Had a coolant leak last year. Couple weeks after the leak was discovered, the turbos blew. The car has since had the turbos replaced with K04's, but the coolant leak is STILL around. been to the dealer four times since for the leak. dealer doesn't know what to do, so they are going to replace the engine...however they are NOT going to cover the cost because i have a modded car now.....so i'm wondering, is it at all possible that this coolant leak from way back could have blown the turbos?

If the coolant system ran low, and the turbos were not being water cooled..
yes, it *might* have caused blown turbos, particularly if your car was chipped, you ran it hard, and didn't change the oil as often as you should. If the coolant never got too low it is unlikely that that is the cause.

you're scaring me!
i have a wicked coolant leak that i cant find (lost about 1/2 gallon of coolant in about 2 weeks) and i only have 6 weeks left on my warranty... if there is a catastrophic issue, it had better happen in the next 6 weeks!
