Question- was doing some highway pulls tonight against zevs car, under heavy (I mean heavy) braking

from speeds of 100+ zev said he saw sparks shooting from my front rotors. I have stoptechs up front, just replaced pads with hawk streets. Any ideas on what may cause this? Did a visual inspection when I got home and everything looked fined. Thoughts?

100+ mph stops will do that with semi-metallic pads. same results @ night with glowing rotors.

I have had people tell me my front rotors spark sometimes at night, too.......

Seems pretty normal.
So, who was faster?

Actually, I thought I was going to get my *** handed to me. His car is about

200 - 250 lbs lighter than mine, he was running 100 oct w/ 100 oct program and race cats. My car was tuned for 94/95 octane. We did about 3 -4 pulls from 60 to god knows what. His car pulled only about 1 car length. Not too shabby, the wagon held its own! I must say though, his car sounds fantastic, if it weren't for mine being a daily driver I would pull my cats. Thanks for coming out zev, had a lot of fun. Have to do again soon.
